How To Cook Quinoa with Knorr

Toss The Salt, Try Some Seaweed!

Want to add some natural umami goodness to your stews, soups and salads? Give it some seaweed! This Future 50 Food's briny, spicy bite not only adds texture but works as an alternative to salt - it contains a 1/7 of the sodium, with just as much flavour!

If you buy the dried kind, simply wash and soak in hot water for 3 minutes. For the salted kind, you can just simply wash and cook in boiling water for 2 minutes. Lastly, you could buy them fresh, in which case all they need is a good rinse!

So sprinkle dried seaweed on oven baked root vegetables, sweet tomatoes or crispy kale chips. Just don't overdo it, seaweed may be healthy but can contain a high amount of iodine. Eat this Future 50 Food in moderation with vegetables, legumes and more for a healthy meal!
