  • 500 grams lean beef mince (pork or veal)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 slice white bread without crust
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic finely crushed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (mild)
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mixed green herbs
  • 1 Knorr Beef Stock Cube

  • 1 Soak the bread in the beaten egg until totally absorbed and soft. Mix in the onions, garlic, mustard, ketchup, herbs and stock cube, add the meat and mix thoroughly.
  • 2 Form small meatballs using a tablespoon or ice-cream scoop.
  • 3 Fry in oil, simmer in tomato sauce or poach in beef stock until cooked.
