  • 1 onion, very finely chopped
  • 500 g lean beef mince
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped oregano (or 1 tsp dried oregano)
  • 40 g, breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Knorr Beef Stock Cube, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 225 g - 350 g spaghetti
  • 500 ml passata
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped basil
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 Mix the onion, garlic, herbs, breadcrumbs, Knorr Beef Stock Cube and egg in with the mince and roll into 24 meatballs.
  • 2 Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Add the meatballs and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes turning regularly until browned and cooked through.
  • 3 Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to packet directions and drain.
  • 4 Add passata to the meat.
  • 5 Arrange spaghetti in a serving dish, pour meat sauce over and sprinkle with basil and grated cheese to serve.
