  • 13 g beef meatballs
  • 400 g beef steak (sliced into bite-sized pieces)
  • 800 g rice noodles (cooked)
  • 200 g beansprouts (cooked)
  • 1 stalks spring onion, (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp deep fried garlic flakes
  • 2 stalks chinese coriander
  • 4 tbsp garlic oil
  • 1,600 ml hot water
  • 2 Knorr Beef Stock Cube
  • 2 Knorr Chicken Stock Cube
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 stalks lemon grass (cut into 5 cm and crushed)
  • 2 galangal (cut into slices and crushed)
  • 6 garlic clove (crush whole clove with the skin)
  • 2 tbsp cracked with peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 stalks spring onion (garnish)
  • 1 Heat water in pot. Add all beef soup ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 2 Add meatballs and bring to boil again.
  • 3 Blanch beef slices in boiling water till cooked.
  • 4 Arrange beef slices in individual bowls, fill with rice noodles and bean sprouts.
  • 5 Pour desired amount of meatballs and beef soup into serving bowls.
  • 6 Garnish with spring onions, garlic flakes, coriander and garlic oil. Serve hot.
