  • 1 (0.9 kg) whole chicken
  • 230 g packaged chestnut
  • 1 stalk coriander
  • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Knorr Hao Chi Seasoning
  • 40 ml water
  • 3 stalks of green onion (cut into 2 inch pieces)
  • 2 thin slices of ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Knorr Hao Chi Seasoning
  • 1 Cut the chicken into pieces, add marinade and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • 2 In the meantime, heat oil in a wok, then stir fry the chicken for 5 minutes or until brown.
  • 3 Add in wine, sugar and KNORR HAO CHI ALL-IN-ONE SEASONING. Cook on high heat and bring to boil.
  • 4 Reduce the heat and braise for 15 minutes or until left with 1/2 cup liquid.
  • 5 Add in chestnut.
  • 6 Stir in cornstarch solution to thicken the sauce.
  • 7 Garnish with coriander.
