  • 1⁄2 kg. chicken, cut-ups
  • 1 pack Knorr Complete Recipe Mix Adobo
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 1⁄2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • as needed hot sauce (optional)
  • 4 pcs taco shells
  • As needed lettuce leaves, trimmed
  • 3 pcs, tomatoes, sliced
  • 1⁄2 pc cucumber, sliced
  • 1⁄2 cup cheese
  • 1 tbsp cilantro leaves, roughly chopped (optional)
  • 1⁄2 cup Lady’s Choice Ranch Dressing

  • 1 Begin by preparing an adobo marinade made by combining the chicken pieces and diluted Knorr Complete Recipe Mix Adobo. Reserve the marinade for later use.
  • 2 Prepare a frying pan and get it nice and hot over high. Pour oil and fry the chicken on all sides until they are brown in color. Remove the chicken and throw in the garlic. Lower the heat and return the chicken back. Pour the marinade mixture and simmer until chicken is cooked through and the sauce thick and syrupy.
  • 3 For the tacos, use any leftover adobo meat by separating the chicken into shreds. Sauté the shredded chicken meat in onions over high heat and pour some hot sauce.
  • 4 To make a serving, scoop lettuce leaves in taco shells and layer with shredded chicken adobo, cheese, and a drizzle of ranch dressing. Finally, you may top it with cilantro leaves.
