This is the perfect recipe to use up any potatoes you have lying around the kitchen. Cheesy and full of flavour! Perfect as a side dish for a big family meal.

  • 4 large baking potatoes, washed, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 grams Knorr Aromat Seasoning
  • Black pepper, sprinkle for seasoning
  • 450 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 225 g Cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1 Preheat oven to 180°C, 160°C fan, Gas Mark 4.
  • 2 Arrange half the sliced potatoes in a greased, ovenproof dish.
  • 3 Add a layer of sliced tomatoes.
  • 4 Season with Knorr Aromat Seasoning and pepper.
  • 5 Add the rest of the sliced potatoes.
  • 6 Gently heat the milk and stir in the garlic and herbs.
  • 7 Pour the milk over the potatoes, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 1 hour until the potatoes are soft and the cheese is golden brown.
