  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 1 cup (250 mL) bulgur
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) Knorr Selects™ Vegetable Bouillon
  • 1 cup (250 mL) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (250 mL) grated carrot
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
  • 1 Bring water, bulgur and Knorr Selects™ Vegetable Bouillon to a boil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat.<BR>
  • 2 Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until bulgur is tender and liquid has been absorbed, about 12 minutes. Stir in oats, carrot, onion, parsley, turmeric, cumin and pepper and let stand 15 minutes until oats are softened.<BR>
  • 3 Stir in eggs; shape into 20 patties and roll in sesame seeds. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook patties, in batches, turning once, until golden and heated through. Serve with a yogurt dip and salad, if desired. <BR><BR><BR>
