Special Fattoush Salad

Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup of Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar
  • ½ Cup of Yoghurt
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sumac
  • 1 Tsp of Dried Mint
  • 2 Cloves of Crushed Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon of Pomegranate Molasses
  • 1 Tbsp Knorr Yogurt Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper (According to Taste)

Salad Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups of Chopped Lettuce
  • 50 gr Orange tomatos (F50)
  • 2 Beet greens sliced thinly (F50)
  • 3 Medium Tomatoes Chopped
  • 3 Cucumbers Chopped
  • 4 Radishes Sliced
  • 2 Spring Onions Sliced
  • 1 Cup of Watercress Leaves (F50)
  • ¼ Cup of Mint Leaves
  • ¼ Cup of Rocca Leaves
  • 1 Pita bread (Arabic bread) cut into squares
  • 1 Red onion sliced thinly
  • Step 1
    Brush pita bread squares with some vegetable oil using a brush.
  • Step 2
    Bake pita bread squares in a 180c degrees oven until toasted. Set aside to cool. (You can also deep fry the bread)
  • Step 3
    Mix all dressing ingredients together until very well combined and set aside.
  • Step 4
    In a bowl, add all salad ingredients together except bread, add the salad dressing and mix gently together until combined.
  • Step 5
    Place in serving platter and scatter with baked bread squares and serve.
