Fettuccine Alfredo with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 medium garlic
  • 1 cup sliced white button mushrooms or shitake
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 1 package Knorr® Pasta Sides™ - Alfredo
  • Dash ground black pepper

Directions

  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat and cook garlic 30 seconds. Stir in mushrooms, wine and basil and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to the boiling point, then continue boiling, stirring occasionally, 8 minutes or until pasta is tender. Garnish, if desired, with additional basil leaves and cherry tomatoes.
