Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. corned beef brisket
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 package Knorr® Leek recipe mix
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 3 cups sliced carrots

Directions

  • Combine corned beef, water, Knorr® Leek recipe mix, cloves and bay leaves in a 6-quart Dutch oven. Simmer covered until corned beef is almost tender, about 2-1/2 hours.
  • Stir in vegetables and cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove bay leaves before serving.
