Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 beef tenderloin steaks or your favorite steaks (about 4 oz. ea.)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. brandy
  • 1 tub Knorr® Homestyle Stock - Beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. green peppercorns

Directions

  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and cook steaks to desired doneness, turning once. Remove steaks and keep warm.
  • Add onion to same skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until almost tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add brandy and cook over medium-high heat until brandy is almost evaporated. Stir in Knorr® Homestyle Stock - Beef, cream, water, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and peppercorns. Bring just to the boiling point. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
