Ingredients

  • GUAVA SAUCE:
  • 2 Tbsp. Country Crock® Spread
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 cup diced guava paste
  • 1 tsp. Knorr® Chicken flavor Bouillon
  • MEATBALLS:
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. Knorr® Chicken flavor Bouillon
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

  • For GUAVA SAUCE, melt Country Crock® Spread in small saucepan over medium-high heat and cook onion and garlic 2 minutes. Add guava paste and prepared Knorr® Chicken flavor Bouillon and cook, stirring occasionally, until guava paste dissolves, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool slightly then puree in blender or food processor until smooth.
  • For MEATBALLS, combine all ingredients except olive oil in medium bowl and shape into 24 meatballs. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 3 minutes. Serve with GUAVA SAUCE.
